From Mexico - I want to tell you we are very happy with the pople that has visited the farm they have been wonderful help and make the farm be a model for sustainable and correct practices, a place to learn and share experiences that enrich spirit, matter and knowledge; to help people envision a blue planet and wellbeing and do something for it. Today we have plenty medicine, herbs, food, shelter and a lot of wildlife thanks to wwoofers and wwooferines, thank all of them.

I recently heard, second-hand, a comment made by a WWOOFer that they were frustrated by the fact that more and more hosts were requiring experienced help, and were not open to taking those who did not have relevant skills. ... read the point of view of an experienced WWOOF host.

I must admit that I had an ever so slight doubt about the suggestion of sending the money wrapped in foil so as not to be detectable. I have heard of so many scams being from America, that I was a bit skeptical. Fortunately, my wife was more trusting, and we sent off the money. We were both gratefully amazed at the speed of your response!!! I don't even know of any first rate companies that provide such fast, accurate, and kind service as you have given to us!! So, again, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!! Jeff

Donations - I really appreciate the low cost of this service. I think this needs acknowledging somewhere in your blurb - keeping the cost low is essential to the purpose of the organisation, giving opportunity to the young and low-income etc. ... therefore DONATIONS are gratefully accepted to help offset running costs. What you are doing is wonderful, you deserve all the help you can get. Jackie

Cyber cafés - We have received a couple of messages from wwoofers using cyber cafes - unfortunately the cafes don't provide an address for replies so we have not been able to respond. Could you put a piece in your journal to advise wwoofers to include their hotmail addresses within the message so we can get back to them? Thanks! Jane & Peter

I wwoofed in England and Wales last summer, and had an incredible time. I met wondeful people, and learned a great deal seeing organic farming in practice. Amy.

I like your site and I think its really great that you offer brief descriptions of the listed farms for those who are considering joining - this really helps for trip planning and makes joining an eaiser decision for someone who doesn't have much money to spend. Emily.

Please could WWOOFers bring torches and gloves and appropriate clothing for work - many have arrived here 'bare' so to speak but then I see WWOOF host's work as a role in helping - especially students fresh from the womb of university - to grow up a bit! The other end of the spectrum is the older professional - last year and this we have had a GP, two social workers and a polish political reporter stay with us and they were a challenging delight! Hosting is a powerful thing to not get overstressed or expect too much. I'm learning slowly how to pace things not to give too much responsibility early on and to hold back is difficult. It continues to be a major part of my personal growth, to be 'good enough' host to be a friend and work facilitator at the same time - PHEW! Keep them coming! Fiona (Spanish host).

I have just come back from my second wwoofing "holiday" where I stayed for five weeks with French Host F018. Previously I spent two weeks with French Host F183. Both trips were fantastic and I enjoyed them enormously - the hosts were great and the arrangement worked well for both parties. I am know planning my third woofing holiday for June or July! Many thanks for introducing me to Wwoofing - I have made many new friends and had an unforgettable experience which would not have been possible without your great organisation. Tony.
